(TORONTO, September 11th, 2017) Gravity Partners Ltd.’s evolution continues with two exciting new strategic hires that further strengthen the agency’s world class ability to build connected marketing strategies that reach networked consumers.

Mark Fitzgerald comes to Gravity from his role as Group Creative Director at Publicis and started in August as Gravity’s Chief Connections Officer. Mary Rose Bufalino, Ph.D joined the team in July as Strategy Director, coming from KPMG as a Manager in the Strategy and Operations practice.These two new hires are part of Gravity’s strategy to put together one of the smartest, most multi-disciplinary teams in the business. The team at Gravity is one that is able to develop high trust relationships with clients in an environment of constant change, iterating to develop new methodologies and approaches to reach marketing goals across new platforms.

As Gravity’s first Chief Connections Officer, Mark Fitzgerald will join Executive Creative Director Mark Holden and Creative Director Ian Murray to work strategically with clients through the entire marketing process, and focus on connecting all program components, creating cohesive creative ideas across the digital ecosystem. He is tasked with building out Gravity’s creative model to meet the emerging needs of our clients, aligning creative ideas with new technologies, data and tools.Mark’s creative pedigree is among the best in Canada, as the writing talent of the now iconic “I am Canadian” campaign for Molson Canadian, in addition to lead roles on clients such as Coors Light, Kraft and Nestle. As Gravity continues to grow on global platforms, Mark’s expertise will ensure the agency delivers best in class, next generation creative.Mary Rose comes to Gravity Partners with both marketing and operational experience working with a range of manufacturing, retail, non-profit, and healthcare clients on digital strategy, customer experience, and transformation projects.In her new role at Gravity, Mary Rose will be working with the Gravity team to build strategy first programs and will be key in ensuring that teams understand the value of marketing planning in connecting the entire ecosystem. As an academic with a PhD in Medical Biophysics, Mary Rose brings an exceptional sense of rigor, a systematic approach and robust methodology to our strategy practice.Mark and Mary Rose will be working on a number of key accounts including Sobeys Inc. and Corby Spirit and Wine.
